主人公オデットは、吉沢博士に造られた「アンドロイド｣。
なのに物心の付いた子供のように「何故？｣「自分もそうしたい｣と云う欲求を持っている。
他に登場するアンドロイド(ロボット)は、プログラムされた通りに動いて、そう云った思考を持たない。
同類なのに、対照的に感じられる。

と堅苦しい感想さておき。
オデットが可愛い！人間以上に人間っぽいアンドロイドのオデット。この先の彼女の成長が楽しみです。
ほのぼのとした雰囲気の中に、切なくなるようなエピソードや、ほっこり嬉しくなる事が沢山詰まった作品だと思います。

鈴木ジュリエッタさんは、まだ新人の漫画家さんで、この作品以前は、主に別冊でバンパイアもの（現代風なダンピールの少年の話）や中世の女騎士と王子様の話なども描いてみえる。
そのどれもが、個性的で、ちょっとアンニュイでレトロっぽい色気があって面白い。
この「カラクリオッデット」も、設定は、よくある話。なのに、一日一日人間に近づいていくオデットの描写が、滑稽で、可愛らしい。
少ないページ数の中に、彼女の魅力が満載で、ジーンと来るドラマまで織り込まれている。
花とゆめ(白泉社)久々の面白い作品。
オッデットがどんな風に変化していくのか、これからも見ていきたい。

博士に造られたアンドロイドの女の子「オデット」が学校に通うようになり、
人との触れ合いの中で少しずつ色んな感情を覚えていくお話です。

設定だけ聞くとありがちな話と思われてしまいそうですが、
作者の鈴木ジュリエッタさんは
独特の雰囲気のある漫画を描かれる方なので、
ジュリエッタさんの味が出ている個性的で面白い作品となっています。
なので、単なるありがちな話という印象はありません。

絵柄もシャープでスッキリしていて見やすく、良い表情を描かれるので
キャラの感情がとてもよく伝わってきます。
セリフ回しも巧みで印象に残る良いセリフがたくさんあります。

登場人物も個性的で魅力的なキャラばかりです。
話作りもすごく上手で、毎回読後感の良い優しいお話になっています。
ギャグの入れ方も絶妙で、何気ないシーンでもクスっと笑えたり
アンドロイドであるオデットならではの言動が可愛くて面白いです。

すごくオススメな作品なので、ぜひ読んでみてください。
