ゲームの内容はそれほど多い物ではありません。車体の種類も、３つのクラス別に好きな色を選べるだけですし、コースに関してもそれほど多いとは言えません。

それならなぜ星４つなのか？それは完成度の高さです。今や必須条件でもある綺麗なＣＧはもちろん、マシンの挙動もそれなりにシミュレートされています。レースはクラス別にワンメイクで行われるので、本当にコースを攻略できていないと入賞すら困難です。ゲームモードは練習走行とタイムトライアルとレースの３つだけでとてもシンプルですが、下のクラスをすべてクリアーしないと次のクラスがプレイ不可能、その上レベルは結構高いので、数少ないコースでも完全クリアーにはかなりの時間を要します。これだけやりこみの要素があってお買い得価格で再登場していることを考えると、買う価値は十分にあると思います。

しかし、星を１つ減らしたわけもしっかりとあります。せっかくＰＣで発売したのに、インターネットで出来ることはゴーストのアップロード・ダウンロードだけは寂しすぎです。ネット対戦まで出来ると良かったのですが・・・。セッティングが出来ない所にも物足りなさを感じます。あと、若干操作反応にタイムラグが生じているような感じがしますが、ほとんど操作に支障は無いので大丈夫です。
このゲームでカートに興味を持ったなら、近くのカートコースにいって本物を体験してみるのもいいと思います。本物も経験したら、さらにハマリますよ。
