・・・なんといったらいいのでしょう？！友人に「カフカの本どうだった？」と感想を求められ「・・・。」短い沈黙の後に「とにかく読んでみて！」としか言いようがなかったあたしは 感性 又は表現力に乏しい人間なのであろうか？！（笑）はっきり言って凡人のあたしには よくわかりません・・・（笑）でもなんだかむしょ~に心惹かれるんです！！通常 読書中に起こる「感動」「共感」といったたぐいのものはない・・・あたしも含め 多くの人はカフカを読んでる時は眉間にしわがよっているのではないかと思う（笑）でもこの独特の世界（なんかこう 薄暗い渦巻きの歪んだ世界に引きずり込まれるカンジ・・・）はクセになりそうです。
全生物の中で唯一 、奥深い「思考」「感情」を許された高等生物”人間”だからこそ、だからゆえの描写がとても面白い。
カフカ文学には好き嫌いがはっきり分かれそうですが、カフカを好きだと言う人種の間では カリスマな存在・・・心をとらえて離さない不思議な魅力にあふれている・・・。
”とにかく読んでみて！”この一言だけです（笑）

カフカといえば、不条理。
カフカといえば、「変身」という印象が強かった。

「変身」を読んで、ピンとこなかった人は、短編集を読むとよいかもしれない。
ひとつくらいは、面白いか、不思議か、妙に記憶に残るものがあるかもしれない。

それから、もう一度、「変身」を読み返すと、なんとなく、不条理の世界に浸っているのも悪くはないかもと思えるかもしれない。

ｐｓ。
自分は、カフカはジャズ喫茶で読むことにしている。
本を読むのに、音楽があれば、自分の世界だけに閉じこもってしまうことがないような気がするからです。

ひとそれぞれ、読書の仕方があると思いますが、、、

海外文学を読んだことがありませんでした、ましてや難解とされるカフカなんてもってのほか。まあここだけの話、小説自体読まなかったんですがね^^;

そういったかたにはこの本を薦めます。どの話も１０ページほど、短いものなんて１．５ページくらいですが、内容は奇抜で、読書後の印象は強いです。また登場人物も多くないので、混乱することも少ないと思います。

このなかの「掟の門」は彼の全作品の中でも有名かつ評価された作品であるらしいので、まず最初に読んでみると彼を少し理解できるかもしれません。
背景も登場人物の過去もわからない、なんともいえない謎の世界がこの本には詰まっています。

僕はこの本からカフカにハマりました。
