V-51に付けて使用しています。
会議等で使用する場合、表だってICレコーダーを出せる場合と出せない場合があります。
内蔵マイクだけで、鞄の側面に入れて、録音出来るかどうか試してみましたが、感度不
足で、イマイチでした。
そこで、本製品を取り付けて、見えないように鞄の側面に入れて試してみたところ、非
常にクリアに音を拾っていて満足できました。
設定はV-51で会議モード、フィルターで低周波分のカットで実施しました。

ジャズライブを録音するため買ったV-40用の録音が高品質になると思い購入。実際に使ってみたが音の大きい室内ライブは、外部マイクを取り付けると高感度になりすぎるめか録音レベルが高くなりすぎて（Ｖシリーズは録音レベル調整が２段階で細かい調節が出来ない）音が「こもる」感じとなった。　室内ライブではV-40の内蔵マイクで十分である。今後は野外ライブ・鳥の声録音等高感度を要する録音に使用したいと考えている。　Ｖシリーズの新機種V-61に買い換えたが内蔵マイクで更に高品質録音が出来ることを確認した。（V-61については当該機種のところの書き込みレビューを参照）商品自体はデザイン・品質も良いと思う。　(追加）コンサートホールでのコーラスをV-61に本マイクを装着して収録。コンサートホールでのクラシック・コーラス等の音圧レベルの余り高くない場所では装着が望ましいようだ。

レコーダーに直接マイクをつけたり、コードを使ってマイクを伸ばしたりと色々な使い方ができて便利です。
音質もやはりマイクをつけたほうが聞きやすいです。
