また、スピードは最高時速300Km/hが可能で、計測ポイントの通過速度で勝敗が決まる「スピードチャレンジ」、直線コースで早さを競う「ドラッグ」などのバトルモードを搭載。バトルに勝つためにマシンをチューンするカスタマイズ機能も充実。マシンパーツの形状までカスタマイズできるので、より自分好みのマシンを作ることができるのだ。自慢のマシンができあがったらオンライン対戦で世界中のプレイヤーと競うのも楽しい。美麗な3Dとリアルな表現力、そしてスリルを一度に楽しめるのも本ゲームならでは。（三井貴美子）

2.0 out of 5 stars NFSじゃないよ・・・, 2008/3/9
公道をパトカー引き連れ、一般車を交わしながらぶっ飛ばす。
数あるゲームの中で、それがNFSシリーズのおもしろさだと思っていましたが。
一般車もパトカーも無く、ただサーキットをグルグル走り回るだけ・・・
NFSシリーズ最新作だから、と期待して購入するとがっかりするでしょう。

ただマシンカスタマイズの自由度の高さ、リアルなグラフィックで☆２つけます。

ニード・フォー・スピードシリーズをプレーしたことのない方は、
こちらよりも前作のニード・フォー・スピード　カーボン　をオススメします。

プロストリートでNFSファンの期待を大きく裏切ってくれましたね・・・

追加パッチについてご参考までに。
マップ２種と車２車種が追加されるとのことで、公表されたパッチを導入された方はお気づきかと思いますが、動作を軽くする為（？）にフレームレートの上限を強制的にロックされる仕様が含まれるようです。具体的には、垂直同期を６０に設定して動いていたところが、３０で固定されてしまうということです。体感的に軽くなっても、これではねぇ。

導入前にご一考いただければと、書き込ませて頂きました。

ため息しか出てきません。皆が熱狂し、虜となったあのNFSシリーズの面影はもうありません。中途半端な平凡レースゲームです。グラフィックや車の挙動がどうのこうのと言う次元ではありません。落胆のみです。
