久しぶりに聞いたので投稿しました。

やはりジェーンはスロー・バラードよりもアップテンポ調の方がお似合いですね。特に、アドリブの聴いた調子で歌う「Cheek to Cheek」などはかなり気に入りました。そういえば、彼女はジャズよりボサノヴァのほうがいいかもね。美女にボッサはつきものですしね。

この後にリリースされたアルバムと比較すると、これは少しおとなしすぎるというか、しっとりしすぎる出来でした。

これからも頑張れ！　ジェーン。

前作２作同様にジャズファンでなくても、十分魅力的なアルバムです。
選曲は以前より多彩かなって感じがします。ボサノバっぽいものもあったり、ドラマティックなものもあったりで、
飽きさせないですね。
原曲は誰が歌ってるのかなって、気になって色々調べる面白さもありますね。

とにかく、歌が上手いので安心して聞けて、ほっとする感じがします。程よい色っぽさと、軽やかさが私にとっては
「癒し系」ですね。
次はどんなのでくるのかなぁと期待もさせてくれます。

ニューヨークのブルーノートで彼女のパフォーマンスを見たときには、
すごい新人の登場だと思いました。この若者の声のコントロールは見ものです。
彼女自身は、男の子にモテる、セクシーな女子高生(女子には嫌われやすい)、といった感じでしょうか。^^;;
CDの構成も、色っぽい彼女の特徴をよくいかした選曲、アレンジになっていて、

全体的に楽しませてくれるアルバムです。
ただ、録音の雑さがどうしても目立ってしまう。
私のような素人もがっかりさせてしまうような録音が
原石を石に見せてる気がして、個人的には残念でなりません。

特にジャズファンの方でなくても十分楽しめるアルバムです!
