3Dカードゲームの戦術性と、正統派ストラテジーによる戦略性を併せ持った戦略シミュレーションゲーム。白き王を目指す4種族の王による正統派ストラテジーゲームで、自軍のヒーロー達を召喚して戦いながら、フィールドの資源や建物を相手より早く支配し、ステージクリアを目指す。戦闘はカードバトルのようにクリーチャーを召喚したり、魔法によってダメージを与えていく。カードバトルが不安な人のためにオートバトルも用意。また、マルチプレイにも対応し、独自のファイルアップロードシステムを利用して自分の作成したデッキやヒーローのアップロードやダウンロードが行える。そのほか、300種類以上のスペルのデータや効果解説、各種族別のヒーローの特殊能力紹介などのゲーム中のさまざまなデータをまとめたゲームデータブック「エーテル魔道書」を付属。
