著者略歴 (「BOOK著者紹介情報」より)

宮沢 章夫
1956(昭和31)年、静岡県生れ。劇作家・演出家・作家。’80年代半ばから竹中直人、いとうせいこうらとのユニット「ラジカル・ガジベリビンバ・システム」の作・演出を担当し、小劇場界に衝撃を与えた。’88年、仕事を離れ、マダガスカルで数カ月生活。その後、劇団「遊園地再生事業団」を結成し、’92(平成4)年上演の戯曲『ヒネミ』で岸田國士戯曲賞を受賞した。早稲田大学客員教授も務める(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

　「アップルの人」なんていうタイトルだけ本屋で見て、なんだかマックユーザーっぽいよねとぱらぱら読んでみたら、まさにマック(マックといってもサクラで問題のマクドナルドではないですよ。マッキントッシュの方ですよ)関係のコラムというかエッセイ、しかも著者が宮沢章夫さん! これは買うしかないねとそのままレジへ直行でした。
　宮沢章夫さんという人は、演劇関係の人なんですがエッセイが本当に面白いんです。どうでもいいことだったり、そこにこだわるかというようなことをえんえんと妄想して言葉のマジックで笑わせてくれる希有なエッセイストさんで、個人的にはすごくツボな方なんです。過去作品の「牛への道」とか「わからなくなってきました」も面白かったのですが、今回のこれも期待通りの面白さ。しかもマックネタオンリー。もともとはマック系の雑誌の連載コラムだったものを集めた本らしく、なるほどのマックネタでした。
　といっても、コアな機械や性能ネタではなくて、マックを中心とした生活やイメージを上手く使ったものばかりなので、マックユーザーでなくてもパソコンを使う人ならある程度は楽しめると思います、、、場合によってはウィンドウズユーザーもマックって結構楽しそう、と微笑ましく思ってくれるかも知れませんね。
　面白くて笑わせてくれる本でした。　
　昔ラーメンズがやっていたマックのコマーシャルを見て笑えた人なら是非。

大変、がっかりしました。
笑いへのもっていき方が下手です。
本当に作家なのだろうかと思ってしまいました。(お笑い専門の方ではない様ですが)
“危険、電車の一人読み。ぶわははと笑い大爆発！　これであなたもデジタル社会の仲間入り？”
この文句は不適切だと思います。

アップル関連のエッセイを集めた一冊です。といっても、パソコンTips集みたいなものではなくて、どうでもいいくだらない（いい意味でね）面白おかしいバカ話が次々と繰り広げられる、抱腹絶倒のエッセイ集になっています。

もともとはMACPOWERで連載されていた「ノート〜コンピュータとMacにまつわる思考の遍歴」を書籍化した「レンダリングタワー」（2006/1）を改題した文庫本、ということです。これだけ何度も使い回されているだけあって、さすがにそれなりのクオリティの高さは備えていますね。

ちなみに、Macの雑誌で連載されていたにも関わらず、全然オタクな内容じゃないので、パソコンに詳しくない人でも気軽に楽しく読めると思います。
