みんなの日本語初級１の続本で、26課~50課まであります。
目次には、学習する文型と共に、太文字で会話文の一行が書かれており、
学習者にも検索しやすくなっています。
文型、例文、会話、とABC三段階の練習問題、
別売りカセットに対応した問題があり、5課毎に復習もあります。
巻末の｢フォームの使い方｣などは、

教師の教案作りにも、役立つ資料だと思います。
索引に、みんなの日本語１の語彙が含まれているのも便利なところか。

“日本語教師にとって”は、お馴染みの初級教材。
初級2本冊シリーズは自他が始まり、可能、受身…とヤマだらけの盛りだくさんとなる。
「新日本語の基礎」の兄弟版という点からも語彙量など総じてバランスの取れた教材となっている。

ただし、多少出版当時の時事ネタが読み物などにからんでいるせいか、時代のギャップも感じるところがいくつかある。
（でも、ごまかせる範囲）

あくまで、“しっかりと”日本語を勉強しなくてはいけない人向けの教材だと私は思うが。
