目の見えないハンディを負ったミュージシャン永田雅紹さんの作品を、岩崎宏美さんが歌った「みんなのうた」。注目の映像作家・新海誠さんが映像を担当しています。

新海さんは『ほしのこえ』でも魅せてくれましたが、音楽と映像をシンクロさせるのが巧み！このＤＶＤも岩崎さんの優しい歌声にぴったりの温かい映像表現で歌詞と曲の魅力をさらに引き立たたせ、何度見ても引き込まれます。

付属のブックレットには新海さんが背景の映像のストーリーを書いています。こちらも味わい深いですよー。おまけ映像で岩崎さんや新海さんのインタもあり、本当におすすめです！

　心洗われる曲と，ほのぼのとしたアニメーションがまずは印象的。
　優しい歌声と，おそらくは誰にでも共感を得られるであろう歌詞が，かつての憧憬を呼び起こす。「みんなのうた」という性格上，一見すると子供むきとも思える歌とアニメーションだが，そこに込められた意味は，過去を忘れた大人にとってこそ必要なものだと思う。

　オンエア，動画コンテ，メイン動画，それにマルチアングルバージョンが収録されている。メイン動画バージョンではメッセージ性が強調されて，新海氏の思いがより伝わってくる。また，氏の十八番でもある，映像と楽曲のシンクロによる効果も遺憾無く発揮されている。

　唯一残念なのは，音響にやや難がある点。位相を操作しているらしく，2chでも残響が背後に回り込んでくる。サラウンド効果が得られるのは良いが，肝心のヴォーカルがややボケ気味になっている。せっかくの美声なのだから，ヴォーカルに焦点を当てたミックスにして欲しかった。

岩崎宏美さんの曲にあの新海誠さんが監督し、
アニメーションをつけたのがこの「笑顔」です。
みんなのうたで観た人もいるでしょう。
テレビでは2分ほどでしたが、このＤＶＤには、
本編9分　特別映像17分半の映像が収録されているそうです。

レビュー題名の通り、曲にぴったり合っているんです。
歌の雰囲気を壊さず、

岩崎さんの優しい歌声をより引き立てるかのようなすばらしい映像です。

余裕がある人は買って見てはいかがでしょうか？
