絵にしても演出にしても、読ませるための技巧だけではなく、
小手先では出せない情熱や勢いを感じる、非常に気持ちのいい作品です。
迫力のバトルシーンもあり、緊張感漂うシリアスな場面もあり、
そしてホロリとさせる人情ドラマもありと、緩急もいい感じ。
読んでいてドキドキするのはもちろん、読後感の爽やかさには太鼓判を押します。

ビジュアルや設定の派手さこそありませんが、
登場人物の人間味と存在感はそれを補って余りある魅力です。
主人公の内面が初めて描かれるこの巻では、その点が更に秀逸。

ほのぼのドタバタな下宿モノが好きな方、ひとクセあるファンタジーを読みたい方はぜひ。

話が少し薄味なせいかジャンプ本誌では空気漫画となってしまい打ち切りの危機に瀕している漫画ですが、個人的にはとても好きな漫画です。
この2巻では後半でハセという男が出てきて急展開が始まります。
主人公・明神の過去編が始まり、私はそこで一気にこの漫画に引き込まれました。2巻では特にお勧めできるところだと思います。
ぜひ一読してみてください。

確かに下のレビュアーさんが言うように、ジャンプでは一番の打ち切り候補かもしれませんね…。
しかし私は面白いと思います。物語の背景が深いっていうか。絵はあまり好きではないんですが…。
エージとツキタケの友情も良いですね。霊の皆には、それぞれ深い過去があって、それも良いと思います。ヒメノの過去にももっと秘密があるようで。
これからの人間願望との闘いが楽しみです。そしてその後も。人間願望戦が終わってもマンガ自体は終わってほしくないです。
