片貝夕起 yuuki katagai (ユーカ)
型紙ショップ、パターンレーベル主宰。
文化服装学院専攻科を、優秀賞を受賞して卒業。アパレル企業でのパターンナー、デザイナーを経て、子育てをしながら2005年に婦人服や子供服のオリジナル型紙を販売するネットショップを立ち上げる。デザインやシルエットのかわいさはもちろん、作りやすさにまでこだわった型紙は定評があり、ファンも多い。1972年生まれ。神奈川県湘南在住。

ネットショップのほうは、どちらかというと
「スタイリッシュな」「男の子」がキーワードな気がしますが
こちらは「ナチュラルな」「女の子」。
ユーカさんの別の一面を垣間見たようで、とても楽しい1冊でした。

ほかの方も書かれていますが、よくを言えば
やはり130センチ（〜小学2年生くらい）までのサイズ展開だと
なおよかったと思います。

ところで、本の作り方として、親切だナと感じた点がひとつ。
端の始末を、折伏せ縫いなどで処理できるようになっている
パターンが2点あったことです。
これなら、手縫いの人や、ロックミシンが苦手な人も
最後まで楽しく作品を仕上げる事ができると思います。

また、綴じ込みのパターンは大型紙2枚（A・B・C・D面）で、
ラインがとても写しやすく、縫い代指示も明確で、
本を見ながらの作業も　さほど手間ではありませんでした。
透明のパッチワーク用定規が1本あれば、大丈夫かと思います。

ネットショップの型紙に比べ、縫製の技術レベルはそう高くないので、
入門書としてとてもおすすめかなと感じ、
この評価にしました。

ユーカさんお得意のコーディネイト集もあって､
なかなか面白かったです。

気になって気になって…本当は書店で実物を見てからと思ったけれど、近くの書店に出ていなかったので、アマゾンさんで注文しました。
内容には…満足！
似た感じのお洋服もありますが、どれもかわいくて…しかも今まで見た子供服の本にはありえないほどの点数！これだけ多いと型紙を写すのが大変かな、とも思いましたが、写し取りやすいように工夫されていて感心しました。また、ほかの本には記載のないちょっとした細かいアドバイスや小技の説明等、消費者目線の工夫もなされていていいと思います。ポケットのアレンジも豊富で、ほかのお洋服にも使えるのでいいなあと思いつつ見ています♪
先日、まずは一番作ってみたかったバルーンキャップを作ってみたら楽しくて、姉妹分一気に作ってしまいました(*^_^*)今度は何を作ろうか…楽しみです！

　パターンを購入するお金が惜しくて、適当に自分で型紙を作ったり、無料のものを使用して子供服を作っていました。パターンレーベルさんのサイトもよくお邪魔するのですが、購入に踏み切れずにいました。今回、本を出版されるということで、思い切って購入。すぐにでも作ってあげたいものばかりで、大満足です。型紙には縫い代線はついていなくて、重ねて数種類印刷してあるので、自分で写し直さないといけませんが、自分で１から描くよりすっと楽できれいにできます。早速ひとつ作ってみましたが、仕上がりも、商品の様で感激です。
　うちは5才と2才の女の子がいますが、サイズが120までなので、130まであれば、と欲が出ます。5才の子はまだ手作りを喜んでいますので。それほど満足しているということでしょうか。
