フジは水族館に保護されますが、種類の違う
オウサマペンギンの中でひとりぽっちです。
飼育員の田中さんにごはんをもらうのと、
ガラスにうつった自分の姿を（仲間と思って）
みつめるのだけが楽しみでした。

ところがある日、オウサマペンギンに赤ちゃんが
生まれるのです。
そして、卵や赤ちゃんをお父さんが足の上にだっこ
して暖めるコウテイペンギンのフジは、「かわいいなあ。
だっこして暖めてあげたいなあ」と思いますが、
仲間はずれの立場上、見守るばかりでした。
ところが赤ちゃんのほうから「おじさん抱っこして」と
やってきて・・・・

あまりにも、あまりにも感動的な内容です。
また解説が名文で泣かされます。
フジの優しさに包まれて、見物人も、飼育員も、
オウサマペンギンも、そして赤ちゃんたちも
みんな幸せになるのです。
素晴らしい名作です。
イラストも過不足なく、ほのぼのと雰囲気を
伝えていて素敵です。

よみやすく、きれいな作品です。
ちいさなお子様のいるご家庭だけでなく、皆さんに
おすすめしたいです。
