「ひきこもり＝よくないこと」
という、世の中の一方的な見方に対し
違った側面からひきこもりについて考えています。

つまりは「ひとりの時間をもつことも大切だよ」
っていうことなのですが、タイトルがいいですね。
ひきこもっちゃおうかと思いました。

だれかといっしょにいることで得られることはたくさんあるけれど、
ひとりでいることから得られることもきっとあるのです。
そこには自分との対話があるはずだから。

いつもながら吉本さんのものの見方、考え方はおもしろいです。

あの「共同幻想論」の吉本隆明氏の本とは思えない、分かりやすい平易な文章で、１時間もあれば読めるのではないだろうか？
しかし、さすが「共同幻想論」の吉本隆明氏の本であり、ひきこもりに関する他の論者とは一線を画す。
吉本隆明氏は、自らもひきこもりと平然と言う。そして、ひきこもりは本人のせいではなく、また、ひきこもりは決して治らないと言い、世間で行われる、ひきこもり気質を矯正するかのような試みの愚かさを指摘する。そして、ひきこもりは決して欠点ではなく、むしろ優れた特性であり、ひきこもりのまま豊かな人生を送れる様に考えるべきと言う。
さらに、これはひきこもりだけのことではないが、自らの経験を基に、仕事の能力を身に付け、社会で生きていく原理を示すが、これは一般に就業が難しいと言われるひきこもりにも十分に有効である。
ひきこもりに関する、初めて実際的で読むべき本に出逢った思いである。

吉本隆明氏がこの本で「死」について真正面から語るとき、とても潔く、ひとときも目をそらさない強い力を感じた。
「子どもの自殺は親の代理死である」
一人の親である吉本氏がこのように語るには相当な覚悟が要るはずだろうが氏はあえて語る。
この語りの強さに、人によっては違和感や拒絶感を覚えるもしれないが、私は大きな勇気を感じた。大人として、子どもを死なせない生き方をしたい。
