毎週の立読みで、宮田くんがボコボコの展開に精神的にきつかった。
でも、毎週毎週、次はどうなるかソワソワしてた。
ランディーのボディー攻撃であばらがおれ、宮田のボクシングが崩壊。
それから、宮田の意地の戦いがはじまる。かつて、試合に負けて飲んだ暮れのトレーナーでもある父親の前で、絶対に勝利しなければならない試合。クライマックスの親子のクロスカウンターにはとても感動した。最後の光速拳は賛否両論あるだろうが、デフォルメ的にとらえれば、いいと思った。

正直、宮田は負けると思っていました。そして一歩が宮田の仇を討つというストーリーを予想
していたのですが見事に外れましたね。嬉しい誤算ではありますが。

一歩と宮田の関係は、「あしたのジョー」のジョーと力石を彷彿とさせます。力石は減量が原
因で亡くなっていますので、宮田もそうならないようにして欲しいですね。一歩との対決は見
たいですが、減量でヘロヘロになった宮田では今ひとつすっきりしません。宮田の選手生命を
延ばすためにも階級を上げて、一歩と対決できなくなっても仕方ないんじゃないでしょうか。

この漫画はかなり高いレベルで面白さを保っていますが、特にこの巻は面白かったです。長期
間このレベルをキープしているのは驚異的ですらあります。この面白さが続くことを願ってい
ます。

いや〜、今巻はハラハラドキドキの連続でした…(^_^;)
ランディの強さに「こいつに勝てる奴は居るんか!?」って思ってしまった程の圧倒的にランディ優位の展開から…
日常の反復練習の大切さを教えられましたし、最後の意地から生まれたパンチも良かった!
最高でしたね!!
さあ、続いては鷹村の試合です!
コミック派の僕としましては、時間が待ち遠しいですね〜(>_<)
