タグを覚えて手作りのHTMLファイルでホームページを作りたい人には役立ちます。
基本的なタグから順次、使うタグを増やしつつタグの特徴を見ながら学習できます。

一番使いにくかったのは、文字が小さいと言うこと。作業内容はテキストで書かれておらず、実際の作業は画面の写真を見て行う必要があり、その写真が小さい上に、注意書きが書き込まれていて非常に見にくいことがあった。
あと、Webの新旧の規格が入り交じっているようなので、その辺りの事情にも触れておくべきだった。同じことをするタグを二つも紹介すると初心者は混乱する。
この本の良いところは、やるべきことが簡潔にまとまっているところ。中級者には物足りないかもしれないが、初心者にはこれでも十分に詰め込まれた内容になっている。
入門者にとっては、フレーム、サウンドと動画、CSSはいらないので、この辺りは本の中盤よりも最後に、興味のある人だけ読むような構成で良かったと思う。それよりも、フォームについての記述があった方が良かったかもしれない。

サンプルCDは付いていないが、出版社のサイトからダウンロードできる。ただし、書籍名が一覧になっていて、下の方なので探しにくかった。正誤表が出ていました。

最近、ホームページ作成にこっていて、色々な入門書を買っていますが、この本は必要最低限なことしか書いていませんが、その分、余計ないことを考えてなくよいので、理解はし易いです。
ただ、解説文が分かりにくいです。初心者向けなので、分かり易い言葉で簡単簡潔に書いてくれると5つ☆だったのに残念！
