　本当におもしろかった。第一部はやや衝撃的な文章も盛り込まれていましたが、第二部ではゆっくり流れる時間というか、粘着質な時間というか、何か時間の「流れ」が私には感じられました。感じ方は人それぞれなので、なんとも言えませんが、この意味で「クロニクル(年代記)」という題名の時間的な縦の動きが意味がなんとなくわかったような気がします。全集の解題で作者が、題名が先に決まり内容が決定された、歴史的な色合いの濃い物語になったと述べている通りであります。

　多分、物語の大筋を他人に口頭で説明しようとすれば、本作品はつまらないものとなってしまうような気がします。その世界観は読んだ人にしかわからないでしょう。そういう作品です。誰もが作者の世界にどっぷりと浸かってしまうと述べている通り、私も本当にそのような気持ちで本書を読み終えました。

　またどこにでもありそうな日常的な風景や様子に付随して、この物語で語られる「気」というか「オーラ」というか霊的で呪術的な部分が本書の魅力であるように感じられます。日常にはありえない部分を盛り込む事によって、世界に真実味を与えているのではないでしょうか。「嘘に少しの真実を盛り込む事によって、嘘はより強化される」といった印象です。

　長編ですが、一気に読めてしまう迫力が備わっています。次作でも何も考えずにその世界にどっぷり浸かってゆこうと思います。なぜこんなにもはまってしまえるのか不思議なくらいです・・・。

ねじまき鳥クロニクルの第二部。
一部では、よくわからなくて戸惑いのままに流されてきて、
この第二部では、やはりわからない部分が多いままではあるけれど、
物語の流れに流されることがなんだか心地よくなってきます。
村上春樹の世界にどっぷり浸かっちゃう感じです。

物語は、だんだんと見えてくる部分がでてきたと思うと、
さらに謎のような人や物たちがでてきたり・・・
はらはらどきどきというのではないけれど、飽きません。
ゆったりした中に、どこか闇が潜んでいる感じは、独特です。

最初は穏やかに読んでいたはずなのに、いつの間にかどっぷりとはまってしまっていました。深い精神世界に入り込んだような、そういう息苦しさを少し感じましたが、すごい作品です。
