　人化の術を覚えたばかりの猫又が、お試し期間として7日間だけ人間として暮らしてみて、人間でいたいか考えるというお話。猫から見た人間ってどんなだろう？という感じの、非常に時間の流れがゆっくりと感じられる作品だと思う。
　この猫又の美緒の姉と妹は何年も人間として生活しているので、かなり人間として馴染んでしまっているから、美緒の猫的価値観とのギャップがコメディな展開を招いたり、思ったことをズバッという事で姉妹の心の奥底に深く切り込む問いになったりもする。
　登場人物は基本的に猫又四姉妹とほんの数人の友人たちなので、あんまり大きな事件になったりはしない。普段の生活で見せる人間の良いところや悪いところについて、猫の視点で見直してみましょうという、やわらかな問いかけになっている気がします。

ほんわか猫(又)物語。

7日間人間の世界を観察して、猫のままでいるか人間になるか決めろ--。
その7日間ほんわか物語が進んでゆきます。まったりです。
文体もそれに合わせて書かれていて、まったり日向ぼっこしながら読むのには最適です。

ただ、エンディングもストーリーも予想できちゃうので意外性はないですし、ほんわかっていうことは、裏を返せば盛り上がりに欠けてしまうということで、読み応えがもう少し欲しかったです。
猫又設定がイマイチ生かされてないというか、次女のヲタ属性に食われてしまっているというか。ちょっと勿体ないなーという印象です。

あとがきにもありますが、「俺の妹が〜」に一部設定が引き継がれており、そちらを読んでいる人や、猫好きな人は楽しめるんじゃないでしょうか。

同じ作者の作品である「俺の妹がこんなに可愛い訳がない」の黒猫好きなら買って損なしです!!
俺の妹内での黒猫の発言を裏付けるような内容があったりして、読んでてニヨニヨしてしまいたした('∀`*)
あの毒舌っぷりも健在です

俺の妹を知らない人でも、ほのぼのしたものが好きな人にはオススメです♪
