本のタイトル通り、ちいさな女の子サイズ（９０・１００・１１０）の展開です。
せめて１２０サイズまで欲しかったです。
そして、ドレスブック、とあるようにワンピース型のデザインのみでした。
型紙の数がすくなく、型紙の組み合わせで何通りものワンピースが作れるようになっていますが、
初心者向けの図解は少なく、またファスナー付きのデザインが多いので
まったくのビギナーさんには難しいかなと思いました。
写真集のように見て楽しめるという点では、「こはるのふく」や
「おんなのこの服、てづくりの服」の書籍に共通した要素があるかな、と感じました。

パターンを書き写そうとしたら、出来上がり線と縫い代込み線が記載されていて、どっちがどっちだかわかりにくかったり、でも縫い代が何センチか書いてなかったり、「前身頃１」とかあまりほかの洋裁本にはない指示の仕方だったりして混乱。私のような独学派には難しかったです。

妻が娘のために購入しました。
紹介されている洋服（ワンピース）はいずれもシンプルで、最近の無印良品の子ども服や、ハグオーワーなどが好きな方に合うテイストだと思います。

妻も忙しくて、今のところまだ実際に服を作っていませんが、娘と一緒に「これかわいいね」なんてカタログ的な見方をして楽しんでいます。
