ひょんなことからUNIXを使い始めた作者による雑談風エッセイ。
・文章が散漫で何がいいたいのか良くわからない。
・挿入される掛け合い風の会話がまったく笑えない。
・その他のギャグもまったく笑えない。

・行間が広く、内容が乏しい。
・作者はパソコンのハード、ソフトとも詳しくなく、
技術的に為になる内容がほとんど無い。

・そのため、ウィンドウズに関する問題点に説得力が無い。
・「UNIXでも出来る」と繰り返し主張しているが、積極的に乗り換える
根拠に乏しい。
といった数々の特徴のため、ウィンドウズ、UNIX各々のビギナー~ベテラン
のどの層が読んでも満足できないものになっています。

私もこの本の著者のように、Windowsは嫌いなのだが、この著者の書き方は酷い。「私はWindowsなんて使いたくないんだ!! みんなもUNIXに乗り換えるべきだ!!」みたいな内容だったが、別に読んでいて面白いわけではない。

狂信的UNIX信者の方ならお気に入りの1冊になるかもしれないが…
