息子が「今までの図鑑で一番面白い！」と言いました。

やはり子どもは「比べる」のが好きだということを実感。

くらべる図鑑なのだから、この図鑑の成否となる一番のキモは
その「比べ方」が上手かどうかということに尽きます。

その比べ方が上手だと思います。
面白いです。たとえば「大きさ」を比べるページでは、
太古の恐竜を現代の街中に置くとどれくらいの大きさか？　だとか、
関東の地図の上に惑星（その輪郭線）を置いたりして、
大きさが視覚的に「実感」できるようになっています。

たくさんの物事（社会や科学）に興味をもつきっかけ（窓口）となる図鑑でもあると思いました。

建物の比較のページで、ドバイの高層ビルと東京タワーのイラストが、
その大きさの差がすこし小さいようにも思いましたが……。

子どもがＣＭを見て、非常に興味を持って買いたがりました。
オモチャ以外でＣＭに興味を持つのも珍しいことだし、私も興味を持ったので購入しました。

動物図鑑等に記載されている鯨の体長などなかなか実感をもてないものですが、自分自身も含めて、自分の身の回りのものと大きさを比べているので実感に近い感覚で動物や船などの大きさを感じることができます。（タンカーなどは単にそのでかさに驚きます）

なかなかあるようでなかった図鑑だし、非常に楽しめるのがいいですね。
子どもも大喜びでした。
