人気シリーズの9作目がいよいよ登場。
ともだちをテーマにし、回を追うたびに内容が深まっていくところ
がおおきな魅力です。オオカミとキツネを始めとした仲間達の
成長していく様子が、手に取るようにしっかりと描かれているので
次回はどうなっていくのかな　と気になるシリーズでもあります。

さて、気になるといえばタイトルにある「きになるともだち」
の気になるとはいったい？

実は、男と女の間にうまれる友情プラスアルファな感情なのです。
ヤマネのことが気になって、ちょっとおかしくなってしまった
オオカミと　どうしたらいいか困っている仲間たちの様子に
こちらもハラハラドキドキしてしまいました。

彼らはこの先どうなっていくんでしょうね？　
ますます気になってしまいます。

今回はどんなネタなんだろう…と、新刊が出るたびにわくわくします。
と開いてみたら、わくわくしてるのはオオカミさんのほうでした。
あたらしいともだちが登場するのですが、そのともだちの可愛らしいこと。
オオカミさんでなくてもとくべつに気になりそうです。

いままでは降矢さんの絵はお話のジャマにならないなあ、
ぴったりだなあ、くらいに思っていました。
でも今回はものすごくハジけてます。
浮ついたり、くさはらでのびていたりするオオカミさんの様子が
とっても面白いのです。
単純なお話の魅力が、何倍にも増幅しています。

高校生、中学生になったうちの子たちも、未だにこのシリーズのファン。
恋する気持ちはステキなことだと伝わったに違いありません。

内田麟太郎さんのキツネとオオカミの「おれたち、ともだち！」シリーズ。『ともだちや』が出版されて１０周年。最新刊の９巻目は、『きになるともだち』です。キツネがオオカミに、ヤマネを紹介して、オオカミの手の上に、そっとヤマネをのせました。ヤマネは、ふわふわしていて、かわいいのです。そのとたん、オオカミがへんになりました。どんなふうにかって？それはもう、ほっわほわの、きっらきらのとんちんか〜ん　なんです。これをこいっていうんだって！！ほら、表紙のオオカミさんを見ても、わかるでしょ。
