数あるいっすんぼうしの中でもこの絵本は、いしいももこさんの日本語による再話とあきのふくさんの絵がとても美しい一冊となっています。ぜひおすすめの一冊です。

誰もが知っている日本昔話。
子供もすでにいっすんぼうしのお話はしっていました。

でもその中でも、いしいももこさんの文章とあきのふくさんの美しい絵のこの絵本は、日本昔話の魅力を最大限に発揮しているのではないかと思います。

『いっすんぼうし』というと、男の子向けなのかなぁと勝手に思いますが、この絵本は文章もよいですし、挿絵がとても美しく、清水の桜の絵など優しい桃色をしてまぶしく見える？くらいです。
なので、娘さんへの１冊としても、楽しめると思います。
うちのは息子ですが、大好きです。
