　ストリングスや他の楽器とのコラボーレションは近年の西村サウンドによくあるパターンですが、年々その傾向が強まっている気がします。

　最初の曲で、素敵なメロディなのに途中からシンセが加わってがっかり･･･。 　ストリングスやシンセを使った曲の方がCMなどに起用されやすいのでしょうか？もちろん西村さんがそれを意識して作曲しているとは思いませんが、やっぱり西村サウンドはピアノ・オンリーのほうが断然いいと思います。

　長年、彼女の作品を聴き続けてきましたが、今回のアルバムは特に印象の薄い曲が多かった気がします。オリジナル曲より期待していなかった2枚目CDの西村アレンジのムーンリバーやそよ風の誘惑などのほうが本来の彼女らしさが出ており、聴いてて心地よかったです。

　彼女の音楽の魅力はシンプルでありながら色々な情景や思いを語る深みのあるメロディー。だからこそシンセや他楽器、ストリングスなどはどちらかというと「余計」だと思うのですが。

まず、あまりのジャケットの仕上がりの美しさに心奪われ…聴けばメロディーの美しさに魂奪われ…西村さんという人は素晴らしく美しいセンスをお持ちの女性、アーチストであります。その音色、メロディーラインはいつでも優しく暖かく、外出先で聴いても「あっ、西村さんだ」と気付く程、ご自分のカラーをお持ちなのです。2枚組アルバムの1枚目はオリジナル、2枚目はどこかで耳にした覚えがある曲を入れて下さいました。やっぱり西村さんならではの雰囲気と音色がいっぱいで嬉しさ100点満点!ご本人のピアノだけで十分完成されているので、他のアレンジが必要ないくらいです。 本当に心地良く安心して聴いていられます。お任せ下さい、この期待は裏切りません! <トキズム>

一曲一曲がすごく優しく、心に沁みます。
かなりの傑作だと思います。

特に今の自分にとってはすごく励ましになるし、背中を押されてるような気になります。
いつかこれを聴いて頑張りました！と言えるようになりたいですね。

純粋になれるひと時、
西村さんの弾くピアノにはほんと感謝します！
