なんと言えばよいのか，かなり好みがわかれる作品だと思います．

やや厚さはありますが，一人称の語り口調はテンポがよく，
ラストにある大きな『事実』におどろかされるのはほぼ確実．
ただし，おどろいてそれでおわり，これだけのためのそれまで．

確かに，トリックはそのとおりで否定はできないのですが，
どうしても無理を感じ，なんとも言えない嫌悪感が残ります．
巻末にこれらをフォローするための説明が載っているのですが，
これも正しいのですが，あとづけのようでスッキリとできません．

何度も読み返したくなるような煽り文句がありましたし，
ミステリランキングでも上位に入った作品らしいのですが，
奇抜なトリックだけが目立っていて，そこまでの作品には…？

途中までは実にいい。最後の最後の種明かしもミステリー小説としての出来映えはなかAの物であるとおもう。
しかし、なにかがふに落ちない。無理を感じるとゆうかなんとゆうか…綾辻作品なんかと比べると最後のドンデン返しに心地よい衝撃を得る事ができない、そんな作品であるとおもいます。
あんまり期待しすぎは禁物かも。

第５７回日本推理作家協会賞、第４回本格ミステリ大賞を受賞とのこと。
帯に「やられた！の一言につきます。とにかく読んで騙されてください。」とあった。
読み終えて、あ〜・・・そういうことなんだ　って。
確かに騙されていたと思う。人間の先入観なんだろうか。
でも騙すことを目的で書いたの？と感じられてしまう作品でもある。
４５０ページと長編。途中からなんだか仕組まれたような無理があるような展開。
たぶん騙される前に読むのを止めてしまう人も相当数いるような気が。
