相当ページをクリックしないとこの商品に辿りつけない知名度の低さが悲しいです。ですが、リスニング特に単語レベルで苦戦されている方々には自信を持ってお薦めできます。はっきりいって知名度以上の内容の充実ぶりです。

なぜなら、当時キャンパスが全国本屋の総本山神保町（御茶ノ水）近辺にあったため、日々語学書を漁っておりました。その中で吟味して選んだリスニングが本書だった訳です。簡潔にアピールポイントを記すなら、まずページの構成がとても見易い、おまけに文字も大きいので拒絶反応が起き難いです。文と文の間隔も空いており精神的余裕があるし、文例を上中部に設け下部にその特殊発音変化（発音の連結、脱落等のいわゆるリエゾン）の解説が簡潔明快にに記されています。

また、カラーフォントが多いのもポイントですし、何より例文が強烈な程シンプルで簡単ですので、発音変化等に意識が集中できます。また、最大の特徴として、例文が簡単なのも手伝い、その例文への付加記号、つまりイントネーション強弱の記号や発音連結の⇔等の記号が、くどいくらいに至る所に記されているので、嫌というほどリスニングの法則の親しむ事ができます。

以上の点が、多くのリスニング書と一線を画す所だと思います。

前半は、リスニングの基本と上達のポイント、後半は、会話の例文で、聞き取りのコツと用語解説に重点が置かれています。
