   真空管ラジオが作れるキットの新バーション。30年以上前の真空管を使用。セット内容は、組み立てキット(部品、真空管3本、リッツ線、イヤホン、ドライバー)とマニュアル。
   Ver.1は限定版だったが、今回のバージョンは追加製造可能な商品として、「大人の科学」シリーズの定番ラインナップに登場。

Ver.1からの主な変更点
・Ver.1よりもかなりの大出力管「2P3」を採用、省電力化のため、2つのフィラメントのうち片方だけを使用
・2P3フィラメントのショートランドとアンテナ線用半田ランドを追加して、改造しやすく変更(半田コテが使えるユーザー向け)
・要望の多かった5極接続の回路を採用
・底板を「紙」から「ファイバーボード」に変更
・ソフトな足ゴムを追加して電池管特有のハウリング傾向を改善
・音の増幅実験ができるようマイクユニットを追加。配線ミスや真空管不具合の発見ツールとしても使用可能
・トランスを大きくして、音量・音質を改善
・バリコンの送りピッチを細かくし、チューニング性を改善
・リッツ線は1920年代に実際に使われていた淡い「緑色」を再現
・本体色は深い「茶」と「黒」のツートーンカラー

学研真空管ラジオの改良型です。
１９２０年代を思わせる緑色のループアンテナが魅力的です。
使用されている真空管がＶｅｒ1と違いますので、回路的に細かな変更があります。
スーパー用の真空管をストレートラジオに採用するなど、ある意味で変則的な使用法です。
このため　技術さえあれば、スーパー受信機の改造する事が出来ます。
ストレートラジオで楽しんで、その後スーパーに改造して楽しむ、２度美味しい夢がかないます。
原型は太平洋戦争中に多くの国民が使った”並四ラジオ”をイメージしたものです。
使われている真空管は１９６０頃に作られた省電力タイプの真空管を使っています。
再生検波特有の音質で、決して良い音では有りません、また音量もＶｅｒ１に比べ、多少大きい程度です。
前回の購入者の改良希望も取り入れたとのこと。

製作は容易で特別な知識は要らない。
プラモデル感覚で製作を楽しめる。調整箇所もなし。

音質は明瞭ではあるが電話以下、大昔のラジオはこうだったんでしょうね。
周波数が近い放送は分離できず、同時に聞こえてしまう。
子供の頃に作ったゲルマニウムラジオを思い出した。

あまり実用性を求めてはいけないかもしれないが、音量調整は欲しい。
それから、電池006Pが5本はコスト的に辛い。商用電源を使えるようになればと思う。

製作後は、聴くよりも眺めて楽しんでいる。
高級品ではない。単純な造りだけど、面白さや愛着を感じる。
昔は電子キットは豊富に売られていた。この手の商品をなくさないでもらいたい。
