このＣＤが初めてリリースされた時の事を思い出します。
アシュケナージの優しく、時には荒々しい豊かな演奏。
特に'英雄'の表現力と、完成度の高さは,
豪のホロヴィッツ、エスプリのフランソワと並んで、
柔のアシュケナージと言っても過言ではないでしょう！
この曲だけでも２０人分は持っていますが、
文句なくＢＥＳＴ３に入る名演です。
初めてクラッシクに手を出す人には、必ず勧める逸品です。
全曲ハズレなしですよ！
これでクラシックのピアノにはまったら、
同じ曲を聴き比べてみるのもお勧めです。試してみてください。

私は趣味でピアノを弾きます。このCDに収録されている幻想即興曲も弾いたことがあるので良くわかるのですが、アシュケナージさんは音符の一つ一つを丁寧に表現しています。大変心地の良い演奏になっていますね。

曲目はショパンの曲集の中でも大変有名な作品ばかりが収録されています。ですので、ショパンの曲を知りたい人や、クラシック初心者には超お勧め。ですが、ショパンを愛する人（笑）もしくは、アシュケナージをよく知りたい人には、各曲集の曲集全集の方がいいでしょう。いずれにしても世界のアシュケナージですから演奏はとても素晴らしいです。是非、他の曲集もお聞きになって下さい＾。

聞いた事のある曲ばかりなのでクラッシックに詳しくなくても心地よく聴けます。音も綺麗で、ぼーっとしながら聴いていてもかなりいいし気持ちも落ち着きます。
