大槻 ケンヂ

私は七曲町子になりたいっ!町子とは、この小説に出てくる17の少女で、この少女が『野原』というバンドのライブツアーのワゴン車に乗り込むところから始まる。
町子のファッション、生き様に憧れて、ワクワクしながらどんどん読んだ!
そして、最後のロックの神々の神々しい競演!!全部コスプレだけどね!
大槻ファンもそうでなくても、ロックと格闘技大好きな老若男女?ぜひ読んでくださいませ!
最後に大槻サン!私の大好きなアイアンメイデンとドラゴンスクリューを登場させてくれてありがとうございます!!

正直、音楽やってた人が小説書いてどうなるのだろう、と思っていた私が浅はかでした。オモイデ教もすごかったけど、こっちのほうが数倍迫るものがありました。バンドやったことないのに、やりたいと思えるくらいの臨場感。そして、個性的だけどどこか優しい人々。ラストに向けてひたすら疾走し続けるストーリー。多才な人は多才なんだなあ、とよみおえたあと脱力するほど面白かったです。

主人公は今を生きる若者であり、マネージャーやレコード会社の人たちがあの時代のバンドブームを生きた人たちとなっている。
自伝的小説なのでオーケンが実際に体験したことを書くのはいいが、今を生きる若者が紙切れに自分の携帯番号を書いて渡したりする行為は時代のギャップがあって読みにくいと感じた。
だが、オーケンの文章力とライブの情景描写のうまさ（歌手なので当たり前だが）、そして何より今を生きる若者たちの青春小説に「紙切れがあーだこーだ」といちゃもんをつけること自体が野暮なことだと感じ、そこからは本に惹きこまれ、スラスラと読み終わってしまった。
けっこうヘビーな内容もあるのでそういうのがあまり好きじゃない人はまず、立ち読みをしたほうがいいかもしれない。
