この機械を買えば、自宅庭の蚊を大量に捕獲できると思って買いました。１〜３日ぐらい稼働し続けていたのですが、中身をのぞくと１匹ぐらいしか捕れていませんでした。なんとなく騙されたのか！？という不安がよぎりました。でも一応１日２４時間稼働させっぱなしを続けました。そうすると１０日連続で稼働させっぱなし状態にしておくと、中身を見ると約２０匹ぐらいの蚊が死んでいました。単純に一日２匹計算になりますが、これを本来は手で殺さなくてはいけないのでそれを考えると２０匹もよく殺してくれたなぁ〜！と思いました。だから自宅庭に蚊が激減していて非常にうれしいです。しかし、この機械は蚊を殺す機械ではありません
。蚊を捕獲する機械なのです。しかも電源を切ると中のファンが止まってファンの羽から蚊が逃げれるようになっているので、要注意です。つまり中の蚊が死んでいないと電源を切れないのです。あとスプレーを噴きかけるな！地上より３０ｃｍ以上のところで設置しろ！というような注意書きが多いです。ですので星１つ減点です。
ＰＳ：2009年の夏に追記させてもらいます。
やっぱりこれは最強です。１か月間連続稼働させても問題なかったです。もっと連続稼働も可能かもわかりませんが、不安だったので、１日休ませて、また１か月間連続稼働させました。１か月間の連続稼働で中を見ると３０〜４０匹は死んでいました。蚊が死ぬと風で死体がバラバラになっているので、あまり正確な数ではないかもしれませんが、おそらくそれぐらいの数は殺しています。コンセントはファミコンのようなデカイアダプタになるので、庭につなぐ場合は延長コードでつなげば、庭のコンセントにもつなげます。ですので、気にしなくて良いです。
庭があって蚊に困っている人には最高の一品になることは間違いないです。騙されたと思って、１か月間連続稼働させてみてください。絶対にいい商品です。

屋内用だと思いますが、屋外で使っています。雨がかからないよう工夫がいります。確かに蚊もとれますが、他の小さい虫も入ります。ACアダプターがついているので、コンセントは、うちの屋外用にはそのままはさせません。（アダプターが大きいだけです）他のより安かったので、おためしに２つ買って使っています。
