素晴しい素質を持った主人公桜木花道を中心に、
濃すぎるほどの脇役と、ドラマティックな展開の試合を次々と魅せてくれるバスケ漫画の最高峰『SLAM DUNK』の完全版です。

完全版の長所はなんといってもカラーがそのまま収録されていること！
花道の赤い髪、各高校の色とりどりの鮮やかなユニフォームなどが完全に再現されています。

あと、カバーを外すと面白いことになってますｗ

その代わり、単行本には収録されてる話と話の間の○は無くなってます。
『あぁコラ、えぇコラ。にらみあい』や、『勝てる……かなぁ？』などは完全版では見ることが出来ませんｗ
その人それぞれの好みで、この完全版を集めるか、集めまいか決めるべきですね。

漫画としては文句なしですが、コミックスにある扉絵の前にある１コマ漫画みたいなのがないのはいたいと思います。個人的には完全版よりコミックスの方をおすすめします。

現実的に社会人になってから本格的にバスケをやるのは難しい。
そういう意味で、若い時、学生時代に読んでおきたかった作品。
サッカー畑で過ごした学生時代だったけれども
これほど濃厚なサッカー漫画、あったかなぁ？無いなぁ多分。

シロートが大活躍と言うのも、バスケットが身体能力に大きく依存するスポーツと言う点で
さほど違和感なく。名作と言われる物は流石に名作。必読です。
