本書は、専門性は強いが、少し見方を変えれば実践的になる。創造とは、
既存のものをうまく組み合わせることであるが、問題は「いかにしてそ
うするか」である。その一つの解がアナロジーなのである。たとえば、
音の動きは、水が波打つ状態から類推されたこと、しかしそうは言って
も全くの模倣ではなく、水の波を超える洞察が生み出されていることな

どが示唆されている。このような具体的な例を読み進めると、読者がど
のような職業や社会的立場にあるにせよ、創造性を必ず発揮できる自信
が湧いてくる。ただし、専門性が強いところは、少し我慢して、読み進
めよう。そして、実践してみよう。
