angelaの歌う主題歌が気になり、視聴を決意。
ステルヴィアの時といい、相変わらず耳に残るいい歌である。
特にOPがよい。
製作発表当初は、主人公が某種のアス○ン・ザラにそっくり
だったのがやたら気になったが、放送を見て安心した。
よかった、普通のロボアニメの主人公の様だ。
ストーリーや設定的には新世紀エヴァンゲリオンに近い…かもしれない

（パイロット個人専用スーツ、ファフナーへの搭乗方法、
光るナイフ、選ばれた子供、謎の敵、敵の精神攻撃…など）。
気になる点、と言えば声優くらいか。
大人キャラを演じているのは大御所の声優陣の様であるが、
子供達を演じているのは最近頭角を現してきた新人さんらしい。
これからの活躍に期待、と言ったところだろう。幸い、みんな上手い。

平和だった日常が突然脅かされ、みんなを守るために
ロボットに乗り込む…という王道パターンを軸にどこまで話の展開を
広げられるかがキモになってくるはず。
番組内でもやたら難しい造語や専門用語が飛び交い、視聴者を
困惑させているが、できれば何か説明が欲しいと言えば欲しい。
また、敵のフェストゥムが毎回「スフィンクス型」と呼ばれる

同形状の姿をしているのも、バリエーションが無いので寂しいところ。
第１巻は１~３話収録だが、ファフナーとフェストゥムの戦闘シーンは
結構見所があるのではないだろうか？　敵の表情が乏しいのが残念だが。
☆が４つなのは上記の部分の影響が大きい、と考えていただきたい。

パクリだとかなんだとか。
自分は面白いと思いました。
エヴァもSEEDも好きだけど、ファフナーも好きです。
少年が世界を救うためにロボットに乗る。
これは、王道ってことでいいんじゃないでしょうか？
だってこの設定が一番心惹かれるから。
エヴァ以降特に主人公の心の傷、そこの宿る闇を描くことで作品に厚みを持たせることがあるけどそこが多くの人の心をつかんだ。
面白いものを作ろうとすると前に倣うということになってしまうのかなあと思います。
それだけそれを初めてやったことが凄いということだと思う。
ヒットするものは多くの人の心を惹きつけたものなので、それ以降それ以上のものを創り出すということがどれだけ大変かと言うことだと思う。
そう考えると『蒼穹のファフナー』は結構面白いと思います。

ＤＶＤを買うなら是非、ファフナーを買うことをおすすめします。
最初は平井氏のキャラデザに惹かれて見はじめたのですが
皆さんがおっしゃる通り、とにかく後半のストーリーがいいです。（さすが沖方さんの脚本！）
ＸＥＢＥＣさん製作ですので映像がとても綺麗ですし、音楽はＯＰ・ＥＤテーマはもちろんのこと、作中のＢＧＭも迫力があり耳に残るものばかりだと思います。

多方面でたくさん楽しめますし、個人的に今までに見たどのアニメよりもたくさん泣きました。いい作品です。
