5.0 out of 5 stars ７つのストーリー。７つの感動。一人でも多くの人に聴いて欲しい作品。, 2006/9/11
　収録されている７曲それぞれがまるで物語のようで、７話収録のオムニバス映画でも観ているような感覚をおぼえます。
　特にタイトル・トラックの「鴨川」は秀逸。せつなさに胸を締め付けられます。映画化、ドラマ化されても不思議でない物語性を持っています。
　音楽性は、ノリで勝負していた初期の作品よりもむしろ、歌詞をじっくり聴かせる点において、最新作「人生と言う名の列車」に近いと言えそうです。
　静かで、深い感動をもたらしてくれる一枚。「人生〜」がオモテの代表作とすれば、本作はウラの代表作、と言って差し支えない内容です。
　超オススメ盤。

どの曲もみんな好きですが、特にCDのタイトルにもなっている『鴨川』は、何回聴いても涙があふれてしまいます。こんなにドラマチックで切ない歌を聴いたことはなかったかも。絶対おススメです。馬場さんの声がまた泣かせますよ。

一度聴いて、いいアルバムだなあ、と思いました。何度目かに電車の中でイヤホンでタイトル曲「鴨川」を聴いているとき、突然ぶあっと涙が出てきて困りました。洋楽邦楽かなり沢山の音楽を聴いてきましたがこんなのは初めての経験でした。心を優しく打つ歌詞、メロディの数々。聴くほどに名作。コブクロもこのアルバムにＫＯされ、「ボーイズオンザラン」をコピーしたくなったらしい。
さあ、注文しよう。
